桃から生まれた桃太郎が犬・猿・雉(きじ)を仲間にし、鬼を退治するという勇敢な男の子のおはなし。

This is one of the 5 great Japanese fairy tales that has been narrated since the Edo period.
It is the story of a brave young boy, Momotaro who was born from a peach and after befriending a dog, a monkey and a pheasant they expelled a demon.
